The James Library & Center for the Arts is a non-profit organization offering programs in music, art, and literature. Housed in a landmark 1874 Victorian building in the heart of historic Norwell Center, The James features a concert hall with a Steinway B grand piano, a free lending library, and an art gallery offering new exhibits each month.
The Mission of the James is to inspire creativity, learning, and an appreciation for the arts through music, visual, and literary programs, in an historic and welcoming space for the community.

Join us at the James Mother’s Day weekend for a delicious fundraiser. This party will feature signature desserts from some of the South Shore’s finest bakeries and dessert chefs, music, wine, pictures under a paper moon, and more! Vintage flair encouraged.

The Barker Tavern in Scituate will be the site of an Awards Dinner to honor an outstanding Norwell citizen and a favorite Norwell business.
The buffet dinner will be held on Thursday May 18, with cocktail hour beginning at 6:00 p.m. Price per person is $60.
