What are you waiting for? Norwell's hottest tickets are on sale now. Be a part of the community-wide celebration to honor Marynel Wahl as Citizen of the Year and William Raveis Real Estate as Business of the Year.

Last year's celebration attracted just over 100 attendees to enjoy a Taste of Norwell, cash bar, music, photo booth and more. In addition to recognizing our Citizen and Business of the Year, we are also celebrating our Rising Stars - Sarah Baker, Veronica Carney, Susan Davis, Katie Kenney and Caroline LaCroix with a brief awards presentation.

Tickets are $35 and available through the Norwell Chamber website, via Eventbrite or via the link in bio.

For nearly 40 years, the Norwell Chamber of Commerce has selected a Citizen and Business of the Year from a slate of nominees submitted by the community at large. Last year, we revamped our awards night to make it more accessible, to showcase a Taste of Norwell and to recognize more of the people, businesses and organizations that make Norwell an amazing community. This event is Celebrating Norwell.

Yesterday we announced Marynel Wahl as our Citizen of the Year and William Raveis Real Estate as our Business of the Year. Today we are thrilled to announce our Rising Star honorees. Each of our honorees have dedicated their time and energy into making Norwell a wonderful community and we look forward to recognizing their impact at Celebrating Norwell. Congratulations to this year's Rising Stars - Sarah Baker, Veronica Carney, Susan Davis, Katie Kenney and Caroline LaCroix.

Celebrating Norwell will take place on Thursday, April 3rd from 6:30p-9p at Cushing Memorial Hall. The event is a Taste of Norwell, with music, cash bar, photo booth and brief awards ceremony. Celebrating Norwell serves as fundraiser to support out scholarship and community partnership initiatives. Last year we were able to donate over $14k in donations to support Norwell organizations, not-for-profits and scholarship awards.

The 2025 Norwell Annual Town Election will be held

The 2025 Norwell Annual Town Election will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025. Nomination Papers are available at the Town Clerks Office thru March 26, 2025. You may obtain these papers during normal business hours. Nomination submissions are due by March 28, 2025. There are 16 elected positions available. Please see the Town of Norwell website for more information.
