Do you know how to recognize signs and help those with dementia?
Join the global movement to change the way people think, act and talk about dementia. Become a Dementia Friend by attending this information session to learn five key messages about living with dementia, and the simple things you can do to make a difference in your community.
The morning will begin at 7:45a with registration and breakfast. The presentation and discussion will begin at 8:30a, wrapping up at 10:00a. Due to space constraints, registration is limited to 30 attendees.

The Norwell Chamber is hosting this forum to allow candidates to speak directly to voters about their candidacy and issues affecting the town.
The Norwell Chamber of Commerce is pleased to host its annual “Candidates’ Night” on Monday, May 15 at 7pm in the Osborne Room at Town Hall. We will continue the tradition of providing a forum for elected officials and voters to come together to discuss the issues facing Norwell this year.
Town Election is Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Norwell Middle School Gym. Polling hours are from 8am – 6pm. Please remember to vote!

Looking to stay active this fall? Join the NSRWA on a guided walk of Forge Pond Park. Forge Pond is formed by the confluence of French’s Stream, and the Drinkwater River. After the pond it becomes the Indian Head River, a major tributary of the North River. Learn local flora and fauna, discuss the area’s history, and just have fun exploring in nature. So come join us on a fun fall walk in the watershed! Families welcome, no dogs please. Meet at parking lot A, the first lot as soon as you enter the park. Look for the NSRWA Subaru! This event is free to the public, however, registration is required.

The James Library’s Fall Juried Art Show will be juried by Misty Flores, assistant curator, Rienzi, The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Deadline for submissions is Sunday, October 29, 2023. Only online entries will be accepted. Entries are open to all mediums. Cash and prizes will be awarded to winners. Accepted entries will be announced on November 5, 2023.
