Preparing for Aging Parents Workshop
Your parents’ health and safety should never be an afterthought; your best decisions are rarely made under
pressure of an emergency. Whether the time is now or somewhere down the road, this workshop is
designed to give you information to make your best decisions regarding medical care, care coordination,
senior living options and financial protection strategies.
“My Mom’s needs are becoming harder to manage after her stroke; how can we get her
the best care and protect her assets?”
“My Dad is getting out of the hospital; what services are available for him at home?”
“How will I know when it is time to make the move to senior living?”
“I am my parents’ caregiver and take care of their finances. Both of them have significant
needs and I am overwhelmed. What are my options?”
“How much will senior living cost and what is included?”
“My Mom is more and more forgetful due to her dementia; what are the options for her
care?”
“My parents are starting to age; are we prepared for down the road?”
The Town of Norwell is creating a vision for the Accord Industrial Park and Queen Anne’s Plaza. Join us for the final community forum on potential zoning changes at Queen Anne’s Plaza and in the Accord Industrial Park. This meeting will focus on the final revisions to the zoning plan for the area as well as the findings from the CTPS traffic study. MAPC will also highlight the project’s regional context.
Norwell has a huge opportunity to grow its commercial tax base, diversify its housing supply, and leverage the development occuring in neighboring communities to benefit the town—but we need your participation!
You don’t have to know a lot—or anything—about zoning.
